DEMOS

not so Short Bio!

David Blackman David Gates and Chris White. With bass player
Austin Barton. Played the last gig in 1991 at the old trout in windsor in front of 600 people under the name Neuronet.

A few days later with an offer of a support tour with Transglobal underground across America they found that money and time had finally put pay to the dream of making it in music.

They had other things like family to think of and with heavy hearts they disbanded.

It had been a long hard slog to try and get noticed in the 90's as a keyboard band and it had taken all the members money and time to get that far. Like so many others it was too little too late.

After 12 years off, David Blackman and Chris White found each other via Facebook and over a pint or two decided that it was time to get back to music. After a few months they self released An Album

Other side of Elsewhere

It had a good review's from online press and with a large following via - Myspace was well received.

With no hope of playing the album live due to the complex nature of the songs and soundscapes they ploughed on with a follow up album

The Killing jar

With the crash of 2008 The album soon disappeared from sight with only a few fans sticking with them via Twitter. most of the loss was down to the demise of Myspace.

They then went into a journey of self facing musical wilderness, writing and recording a massive amount of songs in various styles, the Album -

Renegades

was finished five years after starting.

Due to the style and structure of the material a band was formed and rehearsal's for live gigs where underway. The real excitement of playing live came at this time from the duo playing a selection of songs at Davids wedding.
people were very kind and excited by the songs, giving them a real hunger to gig again.

At this point Austin Barton rejoined them he had been on quite a journey of his own. But as ever bad luck struck again and Covid stopped them form getting on the road.

Lockdown how ever didn't stop them. Zoom calls, emailing back and forth and late night brain storming kept them going during the
dark time.

The concept for still was born out of the idea of writing songs  around a self penned short story. A few months of frantic recording once back together in a musical bubble they have and Album that they are proud of.

Is this the end...

the answer is no, more songs are taken shape but for now they will have to wait.

Still will be released soon.
ok so they can't play live now but covid will not stop play forever and once things are back to a new normal they are excited to get back rehearsing.

They also have a side project. With a charity SINGLE FOR THE LOCAL

ONE CAN TRUST

who Davids wife Liz supports by her tireless efforts during this nightmare. yep the boys are still writing and recording.

For them music is much more than a hobby. It's an obsession.

Would they like a deal with the right record company?
The answer would be yes. As writers or as artists.
But the lack of a deal at this time will not stop the music.
